Insects covered in dewdrops are always prized by macro photographers. Why? Because they look so good, I mean droplet photography is a legitimate genre of photography in itself. Once again, a very early start raises the chances of finding insects before they become active during the warmth of the day, AND finding them covered in the previous night’s dew. This little damselfly (enallagma cyathigerum) was wearing about as much dew as the laws of physics would allow. Look closely at the dew drops to reveal what was forming the background.
